Former Diamonds shooter Kate Beveridge has signed with Mainland Tactix for next year's national netball premiership.
Beveridge makes the move across the Tasman after turning out for the West Coast Fever in this year's Australian Super Netball league.
The 1.93m shooter played 16 Tests for Australia between 2008 and 2011, also turning out for the Fast5 Australian Flyers in 2014.
The Tactix have also lured Silver Ferns defender Jane Watson back after three years at the Southern Steel to boost their back-court.
The Christchurch-born Watson, this year's premiership player of the year, began her career at the Tactix in 2012.
Young midcourter Kimiora Poi, a key player in New Zealand under-21's win at the World Youth Cup, will make the move south to Christchurch from the Central Pulse.
The Tacix have re-signed a core group of six players: Jess Moulds, Erikana Pedersen, Zoe Walker, Charlotte Elley, Temalisi Fakahokotau and shooter Brooke Leaver.
Shooter Ellie Bird has also earned a contract after stepping up this year from the Tactix's second-tier Beko League team.
Former Silver Fern and Tactix foundation member Anna Thompson has missed out on a contract for 2018.
