Former Black Cap player Chris Harris has finally received his first Black Caps test cap since its disappearance from his home a decade ago.
His cap, accompanied by two balls were listed for auction on Trade Me this morning.
The cap and balls were removed from the website at 11:29am, with the highest bidder offering $1310.
The Trade Me auction states that a plate on the lid of the box reads 'New Zealand Cricket', and 'Chris Harris No 181', referencing that Harris is the 181st cricketer to represent New Zealand in test cricket.
A plate on the side read 'C Z Harris, No 181, NEW ZEALAND vs SRI LANKA 1992/93', making reference to when he made his debut and who he made his debut against, having played Sri Lanka in Moratuwa, from November 27 until December 2, 1992.
Harris played 23 tests and 250 one-day internationals for New Zealand throughout a 14-year international career.
