The secret to Alberto Moreno's 25-yard screamer on Monday appears to be an outrageous new piece of body art.
The Spanish full-back, who netted one of Liverpool's four goals against Stoke at the weekend, has posted a picture of the giant chimpanzee head which he had inked on his right thigh - following a post showing him being tattooed on Saturday.
The tattoo does not depict your usual monkey, but rather a well groomed ape holding a gun, wearing a suit and tie and also donning headphones and mirrored sunglasses reflecting palm trees.
The Liverpool star was already heavily inked before his latest session under the needle, with full sleeves on both his arms and further tattoos on his stomach and his left shin.
Moreno's latest effort puts him among some of the most tattooed stars in the Anfield club's history, joining the likes of Daniel Agger, Raul Meireles and Djibril Cisse. Current team-mates Danny Ings and Martin Skrtel also deserve a mention.
The 23-year-old was clearly very happy with the tattoo as he took to Instagram to thank the artist who works under the name Franco Tattoo in Liverpool.
"Enjoying this great artist" the defender wrote alongside a picture of him giving the thumbs up whilst being drawn on.
Moreno will be hoping his new piece of body art continues to be a good omen ahead of Friday's crucial Europa League tie with Dortmund.
