The Porirua Park Stadium has been renamed after former All Black Jerry Collins in an emotional ceremony this morning.
The 34-year-old died in a car crash in France in June last year. His partner Alana Madill died and his 3-month-old daughter Ayla Collins was injured but survived.
The venue will now be known as the Jerry Collins Stadium and a plaque has been unveiled in his honour.
Collins was raised in Porirua and played for the Northern United Rugby Club.
