The four Whitelock brothers will start together for the first time for the Crusaders in Saturday's pre-season match against the Hurricanes in Mangatainoka.
The Whitelocks - Adam, Luke, George and Sam - grew up on a dairy farm, 30 minutes from Mangatainoka, and this will be the first time they have all taken the field together since 2004 when the hostel played the day boys at Feilding Area High School.
The Crusaders have made a number of changes from the side that beat the Highlanders 47-19, with All Blacks Owen Franks, Sam Whitelock and Israel Dagg named for their first starts of the 2012 Crusaders campaign.
Fellow-World Cup winners Corey Flynn, Ben Franks, Kieran Read and Andy Ellis are on a strong 13-man bench but they are still without Richie McCaw and Dan Carter.
Tom Taylor makes a start at first five and replaces Tyler Bleyendaal who moves to the bench while Adam Whitelock replaces Ryan Crotty in the starting XV, after Crotty suffered a hamstring strain in the match in Greymouth.
Saturday's game is already a sell-out with over 8000 people attending the match. It will be played on Neil 'Skin' Symonds' farm next to the Tui Brewery in Mangatainoka, which has been transformed from a bare paddock into a rugby ground.
