Wicketkeeper Rebecca Rolls was a commanding presence as the New Zealand women's cricket team cruised to a seven-wicket defeat of the New Zealand A team at Lincoln University yesterday.
Rolls struck 90, dominating the White Ferns' innings of 210 for three in reply to their opponents' 209 for seven.
She received support from Haidee Tiffen, unbeaten on 59, and 33 from Suzie Bates.
Next week New Zealand leave for a quadrangular tournament in India, also involving Australia and England.
