KEY POINTS:
Wales first five James Hook, who made a spectacular home debut after coming on as replacement in the 29-29 draw with Australia last weekend, has been named at centre for Saturday's rugby match against the Pacific Islanders.
Hook took over the kicking duties from injured captain Stephen Jones and was instrumental in the Welsh fightback after they had trailed 17-6.
"James is undoubtedly a talented player who plays both positions very well. He is obviously comfortable filling in at number 10," coach Gareth Jenkins said in a statement on Wednesday.
"But we want to keep our choices open and keep James in our options for both places. Only time will tell which is his best."
Prop Duncan Jones takes over as captain while fullback Kevin Morgan is the only survivor from last week's starting lineup.
New Zealand-born centre Sonny Parker, who came out of international retirement this week, will make his first appearance for almost a year alongside Hook.
In the forwards Chris Horsman returns to the side after his Worcester side declined to release him for the Australia match in accordance with instructions from the clubs' ruling body Premier Rugby.
Michael Owen switches from number eight to partner Robert Sidoli in the second row.
