Chris Wood will link up with the All Whites in top goal-scoring form.
Wood has scored both of Leeds United's goals in a 2-0 win over Brighton at Elland Road to move Leeds into the top four in the Championship.
Named as Man of the Match, Wood scored in the 64th minute with a header before icing the win from the penalty spot with five minutes remaining.
He now has 24 goals in the second-tier of English football, the most in the competition, scoring 12 in his last 13 games.
Wood has now scored against 18 different teams in league football this season; the most in England's top four leagues.
The Waikato striker is set to join the All Whites next week for their World Cup qualifiers against Fiji on the 25th and 28th of March.
Wood could also be handed the captains armband after usual skipper Winston Reid went down with an injury while playing for West Ham this morning.
