Black Caps cricket allrounder Jacob Oram is unlikely to be fit to face the Australians.
Despite being cleared of a stress fracture in his back Oram saod he was probably not going to be fit for the one day series against the Aussies.
He said the one dayers are looking unlikely, especially as an allrounder, however if things go well towards the end of the season he could be back playing.
He said he might play the odd game of club cricket or for Central Districts as a batsman and then he will see how it goes after that.
Oram admits that if he does play in the test matches against Australia, it may be as a batsman only.
