They might not have dominated as they did in previous years, but that didn't stop the All Blacks from claiming their eighth-straight Rugby Championship title.

As you'll find with most competitions, there was plenty to be happy about but some definite areas of concern.

Take Beauden Barrett for example. The All Blacks star No 10 showed why he's a two-time World Rugby Player of the Year with his dominant running game and ability to dismantle a defensive line. The elder of the All Blacks Barrett trio led the team in tries scored (5) and assists (5), while tearing past his share of defenders.

But when it came to making tackles and place-kicking, the 27-year-old showed he still had room to improve.

Barrett led the team in missed tackles (11) and turnovers conceded (12), while he was successful on just 68 per cent of his shots at goal.

His South African counterpart Handre Pollard had 10 missed tackles and four turnovers conceded while Wallabies first five-eighth Barnard Foley missed seven tackles across six tests.
