Chiefs winger and one test All Black Lelia Masaga will follow teammate Richard Kahui to Japan at the end of the Super 15 season.
The 26-year-old has signed with the Japanese club Honda for two seasons.
Masaga is in his eighth Super Rugby season and has played 80 games for the Chiefs.
His only test for the All Blacks was against Italy in 2009.
He said the contract offer was too good to turn down.
"This was a really tough decision to make. The Chiefs have been an important part of my life for eight years, but this was just simply an opportunity that was too good to turn down."
Kahui confirmed last month that he's signed with Toshiba while All Black loose forward Adam Thomson has signed a two year deal with the Canon Eagles.
Former All Blacks Mils Muliaina (NTT Docomo Red Hurricanes) and Jerome Kaino (Toyota) currently play in Japan while Brad Thorn, Ma'a Nonu and Sonny Bill Williams have all played there in the recent times.
