The following incidents were reported to Rotorua police during the past few days:
Burglaries
Rotorua police have noticed a spike in thefts from licensed premises in the Eat Streat area.
Senior Sergeant Denis Murphy said CCTV footage was being used to help identify the suspects.
"We are following a few separate lines of inquiry.
"These burglaries are happening in the early hours of the morning, so people need to be reporting any suspicious activity they notice."
He said there had also been an increase in burglaries around the Kawaha Point area over the festive season.
Police advise people to be sensible with locking away valuable items and reporting suspicious activity such as people looking down driveways or into vehicles.
Dairy robbery
On Saturday afternoon police attended a robbery at a Sunset Rd dairy.
Murphy said there was no assault involved in the incident and inquiries were ongoing.
Offenders caught by CCTV
Over recent weeks a number of vehicles were broken into and items taken.
As a result of CCTV footage police were able to identify the juvenile offenders.
"They are now in custody and will go through the Youth Aid process," Murphy said.
Any information on any of the above incidents can be given to Rotorua police (07) 349 9590 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
