The four Labour leadership candidates will visit Rotorua as part of a nationwide tour, gathering votes in support of their nominations for the party's top job.
Labour MPs Andrew Little, Nanaia Mahuta, David Parker and Grant Robertson will be in Rotorua on Tuesday, November 4, to campaign for local Labour Party members' votes.
Forty per cent of the party's Electoral College, which will decide who the new leader will be, is made up of votes from party members nationwide.
At the meeting, candidates will have a chance to address members and ask them questions.
Labour members can then fill out their voting forms, which have already been sent out, in the order of their preferred leader.
Rotorua's 2014 Labour Party election candidate Tamati Coffey said he was pleased the potential leaders had chosen to prioritise Rotorua on their tour.
"On behalf of the 11,000 people that voted for me, I need to hear where they think Labour is going wrong and what solutions they have, going forward.
"After such a disappointing overall election result, our new leader needs to spell out the vision to inspire us to inspire others."
The meeting will take place in the Haupapa Room of the Rotorua District Library from midday. The meeting is open to Labour Party members only.
Any member of the public wishing to be involved will be permitted to sign up as a Labour member at the door.
