A woman who slipped on a Waikato River boat ramp had to shout for help.
The Warkworth 64-year-old slipped on the ramp near Whakamaru today around 1.45pm.
The Rotorua based BayTrust Rescue Helicopter was dispatched, along with other emergency services, to the scene.
Pilot Barry Vincent said the woman had slipped on a ramp on the lake edge and as a result sustained leg injuries.

"Unable to move, the woman's cries for help were heard by her husband, and emergency services were notified," he said.
After assessment she was airlifted to Rotorua Hospital in a "comfortable" condition.
