A barber's attempt to give his clients a "nice gift" has been called out online, as customers quickly realised it would be dangerous to make use of the offering.
Jake Gamez shared an image to Twitter showing his business cards for Fadeaway Barbershop in Texas, to which he'd attached a condom on the back.
As Metro UK reports, when attaching the freebie, he used a stapler, punching directly through the condom and creating two holes right in the centre.
He explained: "Gotta include one of these with every card! You're going to need it after I cut your hair. Trust me."
If that turns out to be true, it would be wise to go and find a condom of your own because once the gift is detached, customers are left with a condom with two holes directly in the middle, making it most likely unfit for purpose.
Some Twitter users replied to the photo he shared, saying it seemed like a clever attempt to create himself some business in the future.
One person joked: "Wonderful… now you can bring your son to get a fade too!"
Another saying: "Stapled it so he could get generations of clients; not to actually help them have safe sex."
"This guy knows business Step one – cut hair Step two – client uses condom Step three – cut clients hair then cut child's hair. Step four – rinse and repeat," commented another.
Gamez made the most of his mistake and took it on the chin by retweeting the responses where people had called him out and said it was all part of his plan.
