She's done it again.
Champion mare Winx has made it 27 straight race wins with a commanding performance in the group one $500,000 Colgate Optic White George Main Stakes (1600m) at Royal Randwick yesterday.
The seven-year-old bay took her career earnings to almost $20 million with the win and set another stunning list of records.
It was her eighth consecutive group one race win — joining Black Caviar.
It was her 20th total group one win — the first horse to ever reach the milestone.
The champion horse had to do it tough. She was seven lengths behind the race lead with 500m to run.
She still had work to do, needing to come from half a length behind Le Romain at the 200m.
Winx exploded at the 200m mark to win by almost a full three lengths in another incredible moment of racing history.
Trainer Chris Waller said: "She's just very, very special.
"She's the star."
