A woman was killed near Waikouaiti north of Dunedin early today when the car she was in rolled on a gravel road.
Dunedin Senior Sergeant Steve Aitken said the 33-year-old woman was one of two passengers in the vehicle when the crash happened at about 1am.
The driver was taken to hospital with injuries that were understood to be moderate and another passenger suffered minor injuries.
No other vehicles were involved.
