Security has been beefed up for a high-profile Supreme Court case after death threats were reported against New Zealand's leading judges. TVNZ reported last night that the threats are believed to be connected to a last-ditch compensation claim from Susan Couch, the sole survivor of William Bell's murderous rampage at the Mt Wellington-Panmure RSA in 2001. It is understood that the death threats have come from someone who claims to be one of Couch's supporters.
