I catch the bus in Auckland daily to and from work and it works well with the AT Hop card. But when people get on with a $10, $20 or $50 note and expect the bus driver to hand over change for a $2.50 fare, it makes my blood boil. The bus is not a bank, and you are holding up the time schedule. Get an AT Hop card and load that $50 on it.

I recently had to undergo surgery and I feel the need to rave about the great treatment I received from the Elective Surgery Centre at North Shore Hospital. I could not fault it - from the surgeon, Dr Eva Fong, to Fiona the nurse, and June the nurse aid. Even the lady who brought the tea around went out of her way to get me an orange juice. This was all through the New Zealand public health system, and in my opinion it is definitely world class. Thanks to everyone in the ESC team. Being a Kiwi is awesome.

It really annoys me when people say they have got something for free! The word "for" is not necessary. "For" is a preposition and should only be used before a noun or pronoun. "Free" is an adjective. For example: "I was given a book free."

Thank you for finally starting to fix up the blockage at the Hill St intersection in Warkworth. Keep up the good work and we look forward to the job being finished.

Now that Auckland is run by one council, could we please have standard dog-walking times over the summer months around Auckland? Every beach and park has different start and end times. It's very confusing.

Thanks to management at St Lukes Shopping Mall. My husband and I were delighted to see a couple of carparks reserved for seniors only.
Being of that era, we often find it hard to find suitable parking. There is plenty usually available for disabled card-holders only and rightly so, also parks for mums with young children. So to see two vacant carparks labelled "seniors only" helped our old legs. We hope other malls, etc follow suit.
