Pressure is coming on Auckland Transport to do something about overcrowding on the city's buses.
It's coming from Auckland Council member George Wood who says he's sick of buses not stopping at North Shore bus stops because they're already full on their way into the city.
He adds that queues for buses can be 60 to 80 metres long at peak times.
Auckland Transport committee chairman Mike Lee has agreed to consider the issue as extraordinary business at tomorrow's committee meeting.
