A beanie-wearing streaker, seen by about 20,000 cheering fans sprinting on to Carisbrook after last Saturday's rugby test between the All Blacks and the Springboks, told police the game was "enjoyable but not a great spectacle", a court heard yesterday.
His naked run was "a bit of fun", he said.
Charles Gordon Haskell, 38, a film director, of Takaka, and Daryl Elwood Hunt, 31, from South Africa, were convicted in the Dunedin District Court of disorderly behaviour and ordered to pay $250 and court costs of $130 by Judge Robert Spear.
