Talks to avoid imminent strikes by two groups of health technicians have failed. Ninety-two radiographers at Auckland District Health Board hospitals plan to strike for 48 hours from Thursday.
And 36 heart and lung technicians, who went on strike for three days last month and are now refusing to work overtime, plan to walk out in three, 20-hour strikes starting on November 19.
However, in Counties Manukau, radiographers have received a new pay offer and will vote on it from next week.
