Auckland will get a 10 per cent increase in transport funding to help ease its chronic traffic congestion.
Transport Minister Mark Gosche said yesterday that the money, allocated by Transfund, would be spent on projects such as upgrading "Spaghetti Junction" and the links between the Southern Motorway and the Ports of Auckland via Grafton Gully.
