A 47-year-old man remains in a critical condition at Waikato Hospital with head injuries after a jetboat crashed into a tree.
A privately owned jetboat crashed into a riverbank while travelling on the Waikato River about 12.30pm yesterday.
A 50-year-old man who was also in the boat suffered moderate injuries.
The men were taken by ambulance to Waikato Hospital.

A police spokesperson said the incident happened near Te Awa Lane in Tamahere, south of Hamilton.
Police have recovered the boat and are making inquiries.
