The Maori Party may be out of Parliament this term, but we haven't heard the last of Marama Fox.
She's promising her party will be back in three years time, better than ever, working and advocating for better lives for Maori.
Fox said while her co-leader Te Ururoa Flavell won't be by her side in 2020, she'll return guns blazing.
In the meantime, she's delving into a project to build thousands of prefab homes on Maori land.
"The Maori Party are going to be building houses up and down the nation for our people in the way we wanted to before," Fox said.
"And all the other parties who talk about it, and say this is what we have to do - well, come on then."
Central to the project will be a local factory, which will build environmentally sustainable homes.
"Boom, let's go build houses for our whanau," she added.
Fox said she's also been approached by both major TV channels - and is keen to get something like Saturday Night Live going, band and all, with a political twist.
