A 36-year-old former national Scrabble champion in Australia is looking for love and has set his sight on this side of the Tasman as well.
Daniel Piechnick, from Adelaide, says he is a single guy who has never been in a relationship and is looking for a woman with the same level of experience in romance.
His ideal woman will be either Australian or New Zealander, between 20 and 30 years of age, and inexperienced at love. She also needs to be intellectual, educated, and have a sense of humour. In fact, if a girl meets all these criteria, the thirty-something virgin says "there's a very good chance" he'll be interested.
"I'm looking for something pretty rare these days," he says in a video posted on a website he created to help him find a partner.
He is hoping to find someone to do "everything right from the start with".
Piechnick says he hasn't had time for love as he spent the last few years busy building up his entrepreneurial career in public relations.
He also ran as a federal and state candidate with the One Nation Party back in 2001 and 2002 and found time to become a food blogger and chair of a Mensa group for people with exceptionally high IQs.
A number of comments left on Piechnick website show support for his idea.
"Good luck with your search for love. From someone who works in media/advertising, it was refreshing to see the space used for something positive," one person wrote.
"Hey, good luck with finding love. It's hard and very difficult to find true love. I wish I could find love, but it's better to wait for the right one to come along. Life is a bumpy ride where you meet people and learn a lot," another person said.
