Police have made arrests following two recent burglaries while investigations into two others continue.

A 17-year-old male has been charged with aggravated robbery following an incident at McDonald's on Liffiton St on April 27.

The man has been remanded on bail and is due to reappear in the Whanganui District Court on August 15.

Meanwhile, two teenagers are facing charges following an early morning incident at BP Connect on London St on December 13 last year.


A 17-year-old male is due to appear in the Whanganui District Court on July 11 and faces charges of aggravated robbery and theft of a motor vehicle.

A 15-year-old is charged with burglary and aggravated robbery in relation to the same incident and will appear in the Whanganui Youth Court on July 19.

The police investigation into the incident remains open.

Police are still investigating the May 21 armed hold up of Springvale Dairy on Fitzherbert Ave and a ram raid at Castlecliff Camp Store on April 18.
