Police are asking for the public's help to find a Christchurch man who has been missing for a week.

Richard Taliu, who also goes by the name of Richard Fualau, has not been seen by family and friends since Saturday, June 10.

The 24-year-old was reported missing to police yesterday.

He was last seen at a local rugby club in Linwood around 5pm after playing rugby that day.


He has lived in Christchurch for the past two years having moved to New Zealand from Samoa.

He was last seen wearing a black long-sleeved plain shirt, grey denim jeans and black leather casual shoes with white soles.

Family are concerned for him and want to make sure that he is safe and well.
