An 18-year-old girl of Maori descent was racially abused on a bus in Perth, commuters claim.
A man made racist comments to the girl before assaulting another passenger on the 555 bus to Rockingham on Friday.
The teenager said the man made threats to her and her friends because of her Maori heritage.
It is believed her 17-year-old male friend was challenged to a fight on the bus.
Video footage captured the man punching the teen several times.
The teen was repeatedly punched in the head before the bus was stopped and passengers insisted the man disembark.
Police escorted the man from the bus but no arrests were made.
