A 15-year-old girl was the youngest victim in a spate of stabbings in West Auckland during the weekend.

Senior Sergeant Roger Small said the teenager suffered a "minor" wound when she was stabbed at a party in Glen Eden.

A 25-year-old man was also stabbed in the arm at the same event. He was taken to Waitakere Hospital, but had since been released.

Police found the injured man after responding to a call about a large fight at the property around 2am on Saturday, Small said.
