A woman was pulled out of her car after becoming trapped following a collision with a truck in Remuera this morning.
Northern Fire Service shift manager Megan Ruru said the crash happened at the intersection of Remuera Road and Ascot Ave around 11.15am.
Firefighters used the jaws of life to free a woman trapped in the wreckage of one of the vehicles.
She suffered moderate injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.
The driver of the truck received minor injuries.
A police spokeswoman said traffic flow is heavy around the crash scene, and the Serious Crash Unit are investigating.
Motorists were warned to expect delays.
