Vodafone has apologised to customers after an "intermittent problem" with its credit card payment system this afternoon.
"Our technicians have been working on this and whilst most payments have been processed without delay, a small number may not have been able to be processed," a spokeswoman said.
"We apologise to any customers who may have been inconvenienced."
The problem has since been fully resolved.
It comes after around thousands of South Island Spark customers had their Internet cut off this morning.
It's thought Transpower workers cut through a broadband fibre cable in Kaiapoi, affecting thousands of people.
Around 2000 customers have since had their Internet restored.
