Several Auckland bus services will not run today because of a union meeting between drivers.
The Metrolink, North Star, Go West and Waka Pacific bus services will not operate between 11am and 3pm.
Link bus services and train and ferry services will operate as normal.
Full services are expected to resume from 3pm.
Auckland Transport's website said the journey planner will continue to show Metrolink, North Star, Go West and Waka Pacific options during the strike but the services will not run.
"There may be other options available in your area including Ritchies, Birkenhead Transport, Howick and Eastern, Northern Express and Urban Express bus services as well as train and ferry services."
The meeting follows NZ Bus' failure to gain an agreement with unions representing about 1000 drivers and bus service staff on terms of a stopwork meeting over pay and working hours.
