A spate of armed robberies hit Wellington overnight with a dairy owner, pizza driver and bar employees being held up at gunpoint.
The first incident occurred in Porirua about 7.45pm, with the offender pointing a gun at a dairy owner and stealing a till containing cash.
At 11.30pm, a Dominos Pizza delivery driver was approached by a man holding a gun with a scarf over his face.
Cash was stolen and the offender - described as 170cm, slim and wearing a black top - escaped on foot.
Just an hour later, two men wearing ski masks and carrying a firearm entered the Clock Work Gold Bar in Tawa and stole a vehicle belonging to one of the staff members.
The vehicle was later located by police.
Police believe the events were linked due to items in the vehicle.
"In these incidents no person has been physically injured but it can be very traumatic for the victims," police said.
