Firefighters contained a large blaze at a Hamilton plastics factory this evening.
Fire Service shift manager Megan Ruru said the fire was reported by someone inside the Proform Plastics building in Frankton at 5.40pm.
The fire broke out in the corner of the building, she said.
No one had been been injured in the blaze.

Evening shift manager Steve Smith said it had been all but extinguished by 7.20pm but several firefighters remained at the scene dampening down hot spots.
A fire safety officer was en route to investigate the cause, which was not known at this stage.
