The wife of scandal-hit England rugby captain Mike Tindall is due to arrive in Dunedin on Friday, according to British media.
Controversy has surrounded Tindall since CCTV footage was uploaded to YouTube showing him getting cosy with an unidentified blonde woman at a Queenstown bar more than a week ago.
Tindall married the 30-year-old Queen's granddaughter less than two months ago in Edinburgh.
Mrs Phillips was reportedly on her way to New Zealand, via Australia, after her horse commitments wound up at the end of the weekend.
BBC sports correspondent Dan Roan mentioned her arrival on Twitter overnight.
"Dunedin Airport could be busier than normal on Friday. That's when Zara Philipps [sic] arrives to catch up with Mr Tindall - & there's no VIP exit."
His next tweet read: "Hear Zara's already left - on her way to Australia -where she'll spend couple of days before arriving in Dunedin on Friday. Eng v Rom Sat'y."
England takes on Romania in Dunedin on Saturday.
Mrs Phillips originally planned to join Tindall in New Zealand in two weeks.
