The Labour Party is facing fresh allegations it has broken political advertising rules, two weeks after the Electoral Commission referred a previous breach to the police.
Responding to a complaint from right-wing blogger Cameron Slater, the commission yesterday confirmed it was looking into a Labour pamphlet reportedly distributed in the Henderson area this week which highlighted the rising cost of living.
Mr Slater claims it breaches the Electoral Finance Act because it does not have an explicit authorisation statement.
