A 6-month-old baby remains in the Starship hospital after the van she was travelling in rolled several times on Auckland's Southern Motorway, killing the 52-year-old driver.
The baby suffered serious injuries but was in a stable condition last night, surrounded by family.
Police were appealing for witnesses to the crash, which happened about 8.50pm near the Khyber Pass Rd on-ramp.
