A nose-to-tail accident on Auckland's southern motorway has caused traffic chaos this morning, although the scene is now cleared.
A police spokeswoman said police were called to the scene of the accident, 200m from the Penrose on-ramp, around 9.54am.
Two cars were involved in the accident but there were no injuries.
The accident had blocked the two north-bound lanes of the motorway, and the AA had advised motorists to find alternate routes, however the police said the scene has now been cleared.
