Two people appeared in court yesterday accused of defrauding banks of more than $200,000.
Haroon Pervaiz Khan, 27, and Marinette Bricmanne, 41, both unemployed of New Lynn, are charged with causing losses totalling $209,013.98 to Kiwibank, BNZ and National Bank.
The pair were remanded in custody and will reappear in court on Tuesday.
