Striking radiographers returned to work yesterday morning after a one-day national strike in support of their contract claims.
Eight hundred radiographers around the country walked off the job at 7am on Tuesday except in Christchurch, which pulled out of the action following Saturday's earthquake that sent hundreds to hospitals, mostly with minor injuries.
Radiographers have turned down an unbackdated increase of 1 per cent, with another 1 per cent later this year.
