Hospitals coped with a nationwide radiographers' strike yesterday despite being busy.
The first national one-day strike, with the exception of Christchurch, follows a three-day strike by Auckland radiographers which ended on Monday.
A District Health Boards New Zealand spokesperson said no patients had been turned away.
The radiographers have rejected an increase of 1 per cent with another 1 per cent later this year.
