Although details of ministerial credit card spending won't be handed to the media until tomorrow, one Labour Party MP has already confirmed he had to pay back about $5000.
Far North list MP Shane Jones was minister for building and construction in the previous government and admits to wrongly using his card to charter a plane and buy wine, magazines and books, TV3 News reported.
He also wrongly used the card to buy movies when he stayed at hotels.
Mr Jones said he was "pretty embarrassed" but intended being upfront about it.
He said he would come to Wellington tomorrow to face the media.
