Anti-Super City protesters caused only minor grief for holidaymakers north of Auckland yesterday.
Just over 20 vehicles - almost half from news organisations - drove to Warkworth from the Puhoi end of the Northern Gateway toll road about 3.30pm, led by Wellsford contractor Stephen Cooper on his tractor. He was pulled over by police for being too slow.
The protesters were opposing plans to fold northern Rodney District into the new Auckland City.
