A 28-year-old Upper Hutt woman missing since Sunday has been found dead.
Cushla Rachael Braddock, who lived with her parents, had not been seen since Sunday afternoon.
Her body was found by passers-by near the Pomare overbridge about 7.30pm yesterday, Senior Sergeant Jason McCarthy of Upper Hutt police said.
It was too early to say how she died, although police were not ruling out the possibility the death was suspicious.
An autopsy would be performed today. The death has been referred to the Coroner.
