A Northland toddler run over in a driveway was in a serious but stable condition, staff at Auckland's Starship Hospital said today.
Police are investigating the incident at Kaikohe yesterday afternoon when the one-year-old boy was hit by a reversing vehicle.
He is the fourth small child to have been run over in a driveway in the past two months.
The others include two-year-old Isabella Thompson, who died after being run over by her father in the Waikato town of Whatawhata on November 2.
