A man has admitted shooting at two elderly motorists at Rotoiti and presenting an axe at a female driver at Hamurana on SH30 last July.
Ronald David Malyon, 51, of Rotoiti, pleaded guilty to one charge each of reckless discharge of a firearm, unlawful possession of a firearm, possession of an offensive weapon, plus unlawful possession of explosives and possession of cannabis for sale when he appeared before Judge Phillip Cooper in the Rotorua District Court on Wednesday.
Judge Cooper remanded Malyon in custody for sentencing on February 26.
