A High Court jury has been selected for the Auckland trial of a man accused of murdering his 2-year-old stepdaughter two years ago.
Warick Ian Broadhurst, 20, is accused of murdering Arwen Fletcher in Waiuku, 64km south of Auckland. Arwen, aged 25 months, was admitted to the Starship hospital with a skull fracture on March 15, 2006. She died two days later.
A jury of seven men and five women was empanelled yesterday morning for a trial scheduled to last three weeks.
