Stagecoach suffered another bus fire yesterday - the fourth in eight months for its Auckland fleet.
Firefighters were called to Taharoto Rd in Takapuna just before 8am after a bus driver noticed smoke pouring from his engine, and shepherded his only passenger to safety.
He said the bus was of a different make to that of three others in the company's fleet which have caught fire in recent months, all German-made MAN vehicles.
