Former Miss New Zealand Rachel Huljich married long-time beau, James Cooper, at St Paul's in the City yesterday.
Among the wedding party was celebrity real estate agent Michael Boulgaris, who was an usher. The daughter of NBR Rich Lister Chris Huljich, Rachel was crowned Miss New Zealand asa 17-year-old in 2002, but fled the Miss World contest in Nigeria later that year after the pageant was aborted amid riots and human rights concerns. Huljich hit the headlines in Australia in 2006 when she illegally parked her brother Jason's $126,000 Maserati sports car - a worker on a nearby construction site picked it up with a forklift and dropped it on its roof.
